Autumn

Autumn. It’s my favorite time of year. We slip into a new world golden and dramatic. Many people talk about the sense of renewal they feel in the new year, but for me, it comes as grape vines begin to turn ochre and the hay fields are sun-bleached, ready for harvest.

Maybe it’s the school year beginning or the sense of a slate wiping clean as nature takes herself back to bare bones but it energizes me to no end.
